Inter-city bus operator

Training

Training for inter-city bus operators is usually provided by the company hiring the driver. Training includes safe driving techniques, risk management, advanced and severe weather driver training, driving for fuel efficiency, and in some cases includes psychology and behaviour management components.

Inter-city bus operators are tested at regular intervals: driver training is, for most companies, an ongoing process throughout the length of the driver's career.
