Working Conditions

In most cases, urban bus operators are full-time employees of a transit authority (or private bus company which supplies transit services), and may be part of a collective bargaining unit (belong to a union). You will generally work on a days-on/days-off schedule. You will work a combination of days and nights, weekdays and weekends. You will also be expected to work on some statutory holidays.
