Urban bus operator

Training

Training for urban bus operators is usually provided by the company hiring the driver. Training includes safe driving techniques, risk management, advanced and severe weather driver training, driving for fuel efficiency, and in some cases includes psychology and behaviour management components.

Today's city bus driver is focused on customer service as well as on excellence behind the wheel, and much training time is devoted to this aspect of your work.

Your driving skills will be tested at regular intervals. Driver training is, for most companies, an ongoing process throughout the length of the operator's career.
